About Us

"We provide a friendly arena for members to meet and practice yoga and meditation under the supervision of an experienced teacher. Our classes are very cost effective and you would struggle to find anything cheaper in Adelaide. Besides the classes we provide, we organise bush walks and weekend retreats for our members in order to get to know each other better and to create an enjoyable community of like minded mates. We also have a "Tea and Theory" session once every 6 months. All are encouraged to ask questions on theory, postures and techniques. Tea and some light snacks are provided during the theory session.

The practice of yoga and meditation can be life changing for many. There are many benefits which will help you with your study, reduce stress and help you feel better. If you are frustrated with the way things are for you at the moment, whether you are stressed, depressed, unwell or just want to be healthier; then yoga and meditation might be for you to help you to reconnect with yourself and feel great.

We create a relaxed atmosphere for everyone to meet new friends. Come along to our classes to see if this club is right for you. Beginners are most certainly welcome.

CLASSES 2017

Thursdays 4.30 - 5.30pm & 6 - 7pm
Yoga and Meditation Class with Ben
Includes yoga postures, stretches, and a short meditation.
Power posture in the sequences help to gain core strength, increase flexibility and help increase mindfulness. Breathing and meditation helps to relax and de-stress.

All are welcome, wear clothes you can move in. Please come along and try a class. We have some yoga mats but they will run out if we have a big class as we usually do at the beginning of semester so bring one in you want to use your own. Please bring your own water bottles and towels if you need.

Prices and Membership
Semesterly and memberships are available. These include all classes during term. We will run classes for 13 weeks of the semester.
Payments are done through the union website and are visible below. Membership cards will be given to you at class following payment.

Adelaide Uni Student or AUU Card Holder Semester Membership: $30
General Public Semester Membership: $100

Location
All classes are held in the Rumours Cafe, Union House West Level 6 The best way to get there is from the east side of the Union House on the same level as the entrance to the Barr Smith Library. You can either take the stairs or lift from level 5 of the Union House Outside the Fitness Hub/ Uni Bar entrance.
