About Us

The Adelaide University Secular Students' Association is the non-religious society of the University of Adelaide, and hopes to bring people together with the intent of demonstrating that not believing in a religion is not something to be ashamed of.

AUSSA was initially called godless and was formed to provide a friendly social group for likeminded individuals, however since then we have moved away from being an atheist club. You are not required to be an atheist/non-theist to join. We welcome all students with inquisitive minds who want to foster the idea of making friends without considering the beliefs or lack of beliefs of another.

Throughout the year the club runs numerous events, including a quiz night, social dinners, discussion groups, film nights, lectures, and of course BBQs. Membership is $5, and with membership you will have access to emails keeping you up to date on current activities and events, as well as discounts on t-shirts and other activities.
