"HeSPA is a club for postgraduate students in the Faculty of Health Sciences – this includes both coursework and research students.
Postgraduate study can be a lonely journey, especially if your research means you spend countless hours alone in a lab. HeSPA aims to remedy this by providing support for Health Sciences postgrads, and organising a number of events where postgrads from the different schools within the Faculty can get together and talk about the highs and lows of doing a postgrad degree in Health Sciences.
These events will include workshops with invited speakers whose work is relevant to a wide range of students’ interests, as well as more informal social events such as BBQs and Quiz Nights.
HeSPA is designed to promote socialisation between all Health Sciences postgraduate students, because even though our areas of study may be vastly different, chances are our academic experiences are exactly the same."
