Adelaide Chinese Debating Union is a student club that focuses on debating and logical games, established in 2011.
As the only Chinese debating club in South Australia, we welcome students from any university and high school to join us.
We have participated in all Chinese debating competitions in Australia over the past 10 years. Overall we have collected one-third runner-up, two quarterfinals and the champion of the 3rd Queensland Chinese Debating Competition in 2017. Our club is well known throughout the Chinese debating community in Australia and even worldwide.
Our club provides a platform for Chinese-speaking students to reflect on their values, explore their potential, improve their overall quality and grow their public speaking skills through learning debate knowledge, planning and participating in debate competitions. It is also a way for all of us to enrich ourselves, improve our logical thinking skills and cooperation skills, and expand our knowledge.
