The Classics and Ancient History Society is run by Classics students (Ancient History, Archaeology and Ancient Languages) from the University of Adelaide. We offer the most brilliant of events to help would-be members to appreciate the wonderful and finer points of classical culture. From the birth of the gods (Hesiod's Theogony) to the might of the Roman Empire. The Classics and Ancient History Society is the University of Adelaide's answer to having a Classics club to call their own. Anyone is welcome to join and enjoy the company of like-minded individuals. And as the name suggests, it's about having fun too.
The Classics and Ancient History Society will try to help people who are interested in the Classical World to navigate these sparks of history through quiz nights, movies, museum tours, pub crawls and monthly club meets.
