About Us

Campus: Roseworthy

The Equine Special Interest Group is a club based at the University of Adelaide Roseworthy Campus and is for veterinary and animal science students with a particular interest in horses and the equine industry. We run events including numerous ‘lunch and learn’ sessions, evening events, full-day events and castration clinics throughout the year. Past events have included ‘Hoof Care Day’, ‘Lameness Day’ and ‘Rural Practical Day’ (partnering with the Production Animal Special Interest Group), as well as several ‘lunch and learn’ sessions from a variety of industry representatives and veterinarians. Please email us at: equine@clubs.auu.org.au for more information or to sign up if you are a student at Roseworthy.
